Cooper’s
Vintage Drums has been providing vintage snare
drums and drum sets to drummers all over the world since 1998. Owner Mark
Cooper has been a professional drummer and singer for over thirty years and began
collecting and playing vintage drums in 1980. In 1998, he decided to start a
web site devoted to vintage drums and their history. Mark Cooper also is a
contributing writer for Modern Drummer magazine and has written several
articles on vintage drum history.
Cooper’s Vintage Drums, is dedicated to the repair
and restoration of vintage drums from the 1920’s through the early 1970’s.
Often, drums arrive in poor condition, having been neglected or abused. They
are lovingly restored to their original condition whenever possible.
Cooper’s Vintage Drums is proud to be a part of
the worldwide drumming community, with customers as far away as New Zealand,
Australia and Japan.

SHIPPING:
We can ship anywhere in the world, however drum sets with bass drums that are
larger than 14x22 can only be shipped with United Parcel Service (UPS). Often,
that proves to be quite costly. A typical small set such as a 20, 12, 16, with
snare drum will usually cost about $250 - $325, depending on location. Distant
locations like Japan or Australia will be higher. Shipping drum sets with large
bass drums can cost as much as $1200. Every attempt is made to keep shipping
costs as low as possible. Please ask for shipping quotes.
