1939 Leedy Broadway Standard

Here is a 1939 Leedy “Broadway Standard” finished in original Black Diamond Pearl. This drum has chrome plated hardware and original Leedy snare wires. 1939 was the last year that Leedy drums were offered with a solid maple shell. It also was the year that the “beaver tail” lugs were first introduced. The date (“3910”) is stamped on the white interior. This drum is in amazing condition, considering it is over seventy years old. The beautiful black pearl finish is in fantastic condition and the chrome hardware has minimal pitting. The color of the pearl is actually more “black” than the photos suggest. A true “classic”!
