Rogers drums made during this era are known around the world for their amazing sound. They were considered the “Cadillac” of drums in the mid 1960’s and were light years ahead of the other drum companies. These drums adapt perfectly to any style of playing whether light Jazz playing or hard driving Rock N’ Roll! Rogers drums were the choice of many famous drummers like Buddy Rich and Louis Bellson.

The famous Rogers wood shell snare drums are considered by many to be the best sounding snare drums ever made! Constructed of 5 plys of maple, this Tower model drum produces a powerful, yet sensitive response. It also has a wide tuning range and can be tuned to a “table top” tightness for quick stick response or it can be tuned lower for a fatter sound. It is an extremely versatile snare drum. This snare drum ROCKS!

The 8x12 tom tom really sings and has tons of resonance.

The Swiv-O-Matic tom holder….. This innovative design propelled the Rogers Drum Company success in the 1960’s and was light years ahead of any other mounting system available at that time. It is very sturdy and can be positioned to virtually any position. It also allows for maximum projection and resonance.

Note the “Knobby” cymbal holder (arm not included). An optional Swiv-O-Matic cymbal arm and tilter can be added and reproduction arms are available. The 14x20 bass drum is a real powerhouse! ….VERY LOUD!!!

The bass drum legs (spurs) also incorporate the Swiv-O-Matic design, which keeps the bass drum from moving under hard playing.

The floor tom legs are also hexagonal in design and employ a unique drum key tightening feature which locks them in place.
